"We were born with our own melody.

The songs we sing as the seasons fly by.

The words you taught, still whisper to me.

And the lessons that I learned still apply."

                         From HOPSCOTCH! the Musical!

Welcome to Covenant Productions!

Maggi Mosaic Music produces original Christian musicals which are designed to

illuminate the hardships and the blessings that accompany some of life's biggest challenges.

Our desire is to increase awareness, introduce community resources, and inspire people to serve!

We remember God's ever present love during these difficult, modern day, conflicts and heartbreaks,

using engaging testimonies and enchanting music to tell the stories of actual individuals and families,

people we know and love, and who we desire to know Christ and the sacrifice He made for our freedom!

The words of Jesus are not left in the past! The Bible is true and the Word still applies.

When unimaginable events threaten our peace, our safety or even our lives,

and when it seems we have experienced "unforgivable" circumstances,

we find the comfort and healing of a loving Savior, through forgiveness.

"Praise the Lord my soul, who forgives all your sins and heals all your disease."  Psalm 103:2-4

"By His wounds we are healed."  Isaiah 53:5

A Little Background!

In 2012, after an 18-year-long career spent working with crime victims, I began writing this show.

I had written music for many years and my songs were an outlet, the best way for me to make sense of what I saw each day.

Using theater and music was the safest way to share what I experienced while working with

victims of domestic violence and navigating through the criminal justice system.

As the script came together, the song lyrics were an integral part of the story.

This project became my way of honoring the amazing people who made such a

powerful, and permanent, imprint on my life. Some of the characters in the production

were played by the actual person, the crime victim performing as themselves.

I was introduced to many heroes throughout the years, and wanted to tell the truth

about the judges and police officers, the lawyers and the crisis workers,

people who saved lives for a living. I also wanted to teach communities about the

dynamics of domestic violence and the consequences of an apathetic culture.

HOPSCOTCH! the Musical was performed in Colorado, in many large venues,

and made donations to local crisis centers in the cities we performed.

We were in production from January of 2012 thru June of 2015.

"For I know the plans and thoughts I have for you." says the Lord,

"Plans for peace and well being and not for disaster,

to give you a future and a hope."    Jeremiah 29:1

I'm also in the process of completing the scores and finalizing scripts

for Anonymous, the Musical, and The Devil is a Liar, a musical.

We hope to introduce you to these productions in the near future!

These two shows are also based on real people who made an undeniable impact on the

people around them and who are changing the world by fulfilling God's purpose for their lives!

Our mission for our company is to portray real human beings

truthfully and respectfully while we recognize and share God's never-ending love.

"His grace is sufficient for me! His strength is made perfect in my weakness."   2 Corinthians 12:9

Anonymous the Musical

This will be the next production of Maggi Mosaic Music. It came to be after the struggles with addiction and the ongoing journey to recovery affected my family. Many families have felt the impact of alcoholism and some have also experienced the process of recovery and restoration. Sadly, others have not. There can be much confusion and separation, anger, and grief for people who love the addict. Anonymous the Musical takes a look into the hearts of the witnesses, the spouses, the children and the parents of the alcoholic.

Support groups for addicts use the word 'anonymous' to offer safety, with privacy and confidentiality, to the member of the group in order to help the person heal without judgement or condemnation. This has proven to be very effective and allows the alcoholic to be truthful about their actions and thoughts, lean on a higher power, and move forward with better skills and a new identity in God instead of themselves or a substance. We can only be thankful for these programs and support the people brave enough to participate.

Anonymous the Musical takes a close look into the lives of the people who are at home, hurting, waiting and loving the addict through it all. Sometimes we want more for the addict than they want for themselves. We pray. We cry. Perhaps we are feeling anonymous? Unseen? Unheard? But God. He sees us. He hears our prayers and counts our tears. After all, who has the power to redeem us all? Only a Savior who is mightier than any addiction.

The Devil is a Liar!

This script is a powerful illustration of the consequences of a lie. Even with the best of intentions, with a purpose or goal to prevent hurting another person, or to protect ourselves, a lie can be a burden that becomes unbearable. But what if no one ever finds out? What if a secret kept will prevent irreparable harm to someone we love? What if the truth comes out in a way that ruins a reputation or severs a relationship? Can the truth be the best option at all costs? Can the heart be restored after being deceived? Or what if the person lying needs redemption? Where is God in this? What does He call us to do if revealing the lie will hurt someone we love? Are we called to obedience? Is it honorable to be truthful when it harms other people? What about obedience?

Thou Shalt Not Lie...

Another element of this show is the power of adoption. We ask ourselves how important is DNA? Aren't we all God's children? Is a birth child more important than an adopted child? Is it God's decision who a child becomes or who the parents are? Or do we manipulate the lives of others to meet our own agenda? What about the choice to take a child and raise it as your own? What if they don't look like you? What will other people think? What does the Bible say about adoption? When does an adopted child become the real child to unknown parents? Is adoption holy in the eyes of God? What really makes people family?

Love Thy Neighbor as Yourself...
